Here is something I wrote:
What is true happiness?
Is it the love of a partner?
Is it success in what you do?
Is it having what you desire?
When all around you are issues.
And problems are abound.
When you dread the days ahead,
for the stress that it causes.
How do you find happiness
We sit here, faces stoic
But in our heart, crying for help.
Wishing someone would take away the pain
and make it all better
And in our pain we envy,
at those whose faces are happy.
But, you have to wonder if they truely are.
